My issue of #32 arrived yesterday and I am still busy reading the magazine. I am honored to be included alongside such talented poets, prose and short story writers, and artists. The layout of artwork and prose/poetry is delightful. And the cover is simply beautiful. Natalie Francel-Stone’s “Ascension.”
I’m having such a great time matching pieces with biographies to learn more about the writers. Many of the works I find myself reading several times, which to me is the mark of great writing. Well done, editors!
The typesetting is lovely. I was eager to see how Sunflowers would look on the page, and it was fun to see the threaded stories side by side in print. Congratulations to the Quinton Duval Award in Creative Writing winner, Elizabeth Campbell, and honorable mention, Dylan Youngers, judged by Gary Thompson. The issue also includes, poetry and an interview with featured writer: Dennis Schmitz. Overall an excellent issue.
